Role: Business Analyst with Azure Location: Palo Alto, CA JD/Description of Role* Business Analyst (BA) who is familiar with requirements elicitation and managing client expectations from Scope perspective. BA will be is responsible for working with business users and technical team to gather business requirements to deliver various Software Solutions. Responsibilities include: 1. Interacting with Business and IT users to gather and document requirements 3. Help define project scope by getting sign-off on requirements document 4. Manage the Change Control process. 5. Help development team understand functional requirements and guide them in form/ screen design 6. Coordinate with QA and ensure User Acceptance Testing 7. Coordinate with offshore team Primary (Must have skills) * 1. Software Development Business Analyst who has a minimum of 8 years of experience 2. The ideal candidate will have experience with the following: • Good written and oral communication skills • Must have written Use Cases, created Data Flow Diagrams, Business Requirements Document, Functional Requirement Document, Story boarding and conducted Gap Analysis • Good understanding of Requirements Elicitation, Tracking and Change Management • Screen Layout / Design: Knowledge of MS-Visio or equivalent tool will be advantageous • Understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies • Writing test cases and doing Functional Testing • Experience supporting Software Development related project initiatives throughout the entire SDLC Secondary Skills (Good To have) * 1. Experience with Cloud Financial Management tools/ projects 2. Experience with Azure DevOps Boards 3. Product Owner Certification/ any other relevant certifications Soft skills/other skills (If any) 1. Strong written and verbal communication skills. 2. Strong presentation skills and organization skills. 3. Should be proactive and adaptive in nature. 4. Strong leadership skills |
