Role : Devops Container SME Location : Oaks, PA Duration: Long Term Contract Job Description: Technical Skills The Container SME is a highly motivated resource focused on working hand-in-hand with other technical support, application support, development support, implementation and service teams. • Experience deploying to and orchestrating containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) • Experience in configuration management tool such as Ansible. • Experience building, updating and managing Docker Images. • Strong understanding of CI/CD Pipelines in a globally distributed environment using Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Harbor, etc. • Experience with micro-services. • Experience building and updating CI/CD pipelines • Scripting skills e.g. Shell, Bash, Python • Experience with deploying and managing micro-services using container orchestration platforms like Rancher. • Experienced in building solutions for monitoring, logging, security, and scalability of applications • Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, Firewall • Knowledge of containers and container management technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, etc • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) is a plus • Familiarity with cloud applications and micro-service architectures • Excellent communication, technical writing, and documentation skills • Ability to work collaboratively, building relationships with team members and stakeholders • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills • Experience running and troubleshooting applications running on containers • Experience administering servers • Experience working with web server technologies (NGINX, Apache, etc) • Act in a SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) role to ensure the smooth operation of the key middleware components of the SEI Wealth Platform. • Design and implement monitoring and stability solutions as required to maintain Service Level Agreements. • Collaborate with the development teams on the platform and provide recommendations and guidance on solutions where there is a strong intersection between code and system/middleware configuration. • Act as last level of escalation on the Production team for all system/middleware issues and assist in incident resolution and problem management.
