Role: SQL/SSIS/Data Modeler

Location: Remote

Requires Skills: MS SQL Server DB, SSIS, Data Model concepts

The candidate should have more than 10-15 years of experience in ETL/SSIS and MS SQL Database
Experience in data modelling and ETL design sufficient to handle any high data volume
Senior ETL Lead with MS SQL Server Database experience
Ability to load data using parallelism concepts in SSIS and fine-tune bottlenecks to improve data loading performance in incremental and bulk load options
Hands-on experience working in a development environment for a client in US.
Insurance domain experience is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

Good knowledge and experience in the data model and database design involving Datawarehouse methodology such as Dimensional modelling and Data Marts design.
Good hands-on experience in coding, SQL Server stored procedures and performance tuning.
Ability to build an optimized ETL (export, transform and load) and move data properly between source and destination targets for an actuarial database gathering large datasets across multiple servers.
Experience in automating ETL jobs and related process flows.
Building an archiving scheme that would optimize the performance of the SQL database to be used for a web application.
Optimize currently stored procedures for the web application and replace any hardcoded values with the data-driven function
Build a versioning scheme for the web application allowing for retrieval of multiple data versions, designating a final version and allowing switching between them.
Build ad-hoc queries and optimize stored procedures for an automated application that gathers historical data and aggregates it for retrieval by the .net desktop application.
Resolve any SQL DB and ETL relates technical issues in the Production environment
