The must haves:
CCIE- HEAVY senior level experience
Basic routing/switching
Migrate core nodes into AWS
Cisco env.
SD/WAN experience
The top focus is strong routing and switching, ideally with a service provider background. Then, the focus is around automation experience (ideally, Ansible or Terraform). They are also installing Cisco based SD/WAN, so knowledge there is a must.
Security is Palo Alto, switches are all Cisco- need strong Cisco background. The switching/routing protocols MPLS and BGP are must haves, along with the other common ones.

| Develops reliable and efficient global designs and delivers enterprise solutions and system performance. Applies expert level development and deployment of global designs and solutions, including M&A projects, for the assigned environment, providing day to day management and support of the IT infrastructure including performance and troubleshooting, lifecycle management and optimization, impacts, and documentation. |
| Key Responsibilities |
| Implements strategy, technical direction, and engineering solutions for enterprise-wide Network-Infrastructure services supporting key business requirements Participates in development and execution of architecture, engineering, and operational roadmaps for IT Infrastructure services globally Provides technical leadership for the establishment and implementation of end-to-end solutions utilizing new technologies Provides technical solutions for the establishment and implementation of high availability and/or integrated solutions Provides clear and concise recommendations to remediate performance bottlenecks. Participates in testing with other teams to ensure that performance expectations are met after rolling out new applications and services Provides escalation and support for troubleshooting and resolution of Network-Infrastructure issues as required by other infrastructure support teams Maintain expertise in Network-Infrastructure technologies to ensure that cost-effective solutions and processes are deployed and aligned with business direction Partner with business unit and development team SMEs to develop best -practices that can be proactively incorporated into architectural and engineering designs Manage, measure, monitor, and report Infrastructure characteristics Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative matrix environment Develop and maintain partnerships with key vendors and ensure that all technology and services roadmaps are understood and leveraged where applicable Partner with other IT functions and third party service providers in the conception, evaluation, piloting, engineering, and operational delivery of solutions for the organization Provides on-call support for business-critical escalations Installs & qualifies components into production following company policies & procedures Participate in IT risk management initiatives in line with industry and corporate audit and compliance strategies |
