Job Description:


ABOUT THE ROLE (OVERVIEW):
Position Purpose: Plan and integrate the daily activities of multiple teams.
· Coordinate the plans and activities of the organization with senior leaders inside and outside IT.
· Apply technical and process expertise to address challenging technical and business issues
· Responsible for planning, monitoring, executing and implementing projects.
· Coach personnel increasing and honing appropriate skills and behaviors.
· Provide advanced business knowledge, process knowledge, and technical support for systems development. Work closely with project members and requesters identifying deliverables and functions throughout a project lifecycle. Ensure the project or effort is adequately managed via metrics.
· Provide technical and advisory support for staff to ensure the development and implementation of applications. May participate in the definition and development of project requirements and analyze requirements to provide a recommended solution.
· Ensure a successful delivery, which may include: development and management of overall project plan, schedule, status reporting, escalations, testing, user approval, final corrections, and methodology compliance.
· Manage relationship with project team throughout GTO, which may include the project requesters. Provide senior management level status reports.
· Log, track, and resolve project, business or release related issues. Coordinate multiple project efforts.

· Demonstrate leadership qualities, display mentoring/coaching ability, project leadership and delegation, follow-through, and team participation skills.
· Assist in developing long-range plans and strategies to achieve business growth. Assist in departmental strategic direction.
· Support a team of Scrum Masters in their execution and responsibilities and iterative delivery of software solutions that deliver business value.
· Interact with the Product Owner to support the product backlog definition/refinement/prioriti zation to feed sprints.
· Some travel may be required.

· Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of training and experience.
· SAFe Agile Certified. At least 1 year experience operating as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) in an advanced agile environment.

· Advanced leadership, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills required with a solid track record for developing internal and external relationships.
· Strong analytical/problem solving and planning skills.
· Demonstrated expertise in the areas of strategy, planning and project management required.
· Skills/ Abilities:
· Demonstrate individual and team trust.


Technical requirements:
-working in an enterprise level shop
-NO GOVERNMENT WORK
-has led several scrum masters
-at least a few years of RTE work
-SAFE certification
