Job Description :
- Technical Project Manager
- Manage all phases of projects, including initiation, estimation, planning, execution, implementation, timely deliveries, Maintaining & keeping track of risk and Issues within the program, Monitoring KPIs, and Quality metrics.
- Establish project goals, metrics and artifacts ensuring that all stakeholders are appropriately engaged and informed
- Establish and assure adherence to budget, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements and also timely reporting of the status throughout the program lifecycle to all the relevant stakeholders. Participate in Agile ceremonial meetings, Pre-Inception, Sprint planning, grooming, closure & retrospection meeting, Reporting
- Support and assign Leads/staff and development of their competencies in line with their objectives and organizational goals.
- Implementing continuous improvement plan and implementing retrospection meeting outcome etc.
- Ensure appropriate Governance Models and robust succession plans are in place for the assigned program
- Maintain positive relationships with the project sponsors/stakeholders/business departments and foster effective communication
- Act as an internal champion to help mature the Project Management discipline, by advocating and identifying opportunities for improvements to enhance project delivery execution and value across the organization Able to deal with complex business or technical issues and make appropriate trade-offs/escalations as required, while maintaining an overall project and portfolio perspective
- Understanding the importance of the Program, deliver value to the business stakeholders and surpass their expectations
- Minimum 8 years of project management delivery experience with a demonstrated track record for achieving business impact with large projects.
- The candidate should have a strong project management background with experience delivering both IT and business readiness projects; within scope, on budget and on time.
• Possess expertise in managing both waterfall and agile project methodologies; PMP designation would be an asset - Prior insurance industry experience including an understanding of brokerage networks would be ideal Prior resource planning experience.
