 | | Role: SQL Developer Location:Oaks, PA Responsibilities - Create, alter, and maintain various Markit EDM Components, both Data and UI Components, using Markit Enterprise Data Management tools as per business requirements.
- Create solutions, use appropriate components, and utilize appropriate grouping strategies for EDM projects.
- Ensure Markit EDM standards are followed.
- Ensure performance and security.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and propose solution for any issue reported by Production Support or Business.
- Create, alter, and maintain database objects including Stored Procedures and UDFs
- Create and propose data model as per business requirements.
- Create, modify, maintain, and debug plugins developed for Markit EDM
- Perform peer Code Reviews.
- Coordinate with Dev and QA teams for release management. Create packages to be exported/imported between different environments.
Skills - Should have 6+ years of experience working on Banking and Finance Domain.
- Should have 3+ years of experience working on Markit EDM
- Experience with working on large and complex Solutions using Markit EDM for Financial Domain.
- Strong proficiency with T-SQL and SQL Server 2017.
- Proficiency with C#.Net
- Hands on experience with IIS
- Very strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Sound understanding of Execution Plans and Hands-on experience with optimizing large and complex SQL Statements.
- Strong in RDBMS concepts and Experience in data modeling.
- Knowledge of SQL Server Profiler tool.
- Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases.
- Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications.
- Knowledge of tools like Git, Octopus, and TeamCity will be an added advantage.
