Job description:
 
Key skills for Architect:

1. Technical
   • In depth expert knowledge:
     • Java
     • Spring Framework
     • Message based architecture using Apache Kafka or similar technologies
     • Oracle/RDBMS, Advanced replication strategies, platinum grade redundancy
     • Application based data replication strategies
     • Multi-site/mult-region high availability implementations
     • Enterprise monitoring systems such as splunk (key), and Dynatrace (nice to have)
2. Leadership
   • Ability to take complex problem statements/HL architecture designs and efficiently decompose work into shovel ready executable features and stories with explicit technical implementation details any engineer can pick up
   • Ability to effectively distribute work to engineers, understanding their strengths/weakness, and rebalance technical workload on the fly as required
   • Ability to partner with tech lead (Steve), to remove technical blockers in real time to keep the team moving along
   • Ability to work smoothly across teams to collect information, perform analysis, manage technical dependencies
   • Thought leader and resourceful – there isn't a prescription for the work we're doing the next couple PIs. Its all relatively green field.
