Notes from Manager meeting below:
- This is on the datahub team. They are starting a replatform project and migrating to a hosted platform in Azure. For this reason, the person needs AKS experience (Azure Dev Ops and Kubernetes). This is from a PO standpoint, not as a developer or anything. They will work with a team of 5 devs.
- They will handle Scrum ceremonies and act as the Scrum Master as this team doesn't have one. (Sprint planning, champion the project, etc.)
- They will work with vendors and other teams
- They need to hit the ground running and create epics and features and create user stories.
- They would love someone with SQL experience with healthcare exposure.
- They need to have worked within the dev ops space before, ideally working in Azure.
Job Summary:
As a Product Owner III, you will act as voice of the customer within the agile delivery team. Eliciting and documenting business requirements in the form of epics, features and user stories. You are instrumental in driving collaboration and communication across delivery teams. As a product advocate, you will create, maintain, and outline work in the product backlog, determining which work items will produce the most business value and prioritizing those deliverables. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners to help ensure stakeholder buy-in and drive innovation through analysis of moderately complex customer problems.
What they will bring:

- Bachelor's degree in information systems or computer science or equivalent.
- Five (5) years of business systems analysis experience.
- Experience in a software development environment with Agile development practices, including Scrum and SAFe. Knowledge of Agile delivery models (Preferred.)
- Experience using SQL for data analysis (Preferred.)
- Knowledge of healthcare or health insurance industry (Preferred.)
- Knowledge of product development tools including Azure DevOps Services, Visual Studio, Confluence, and Product Plan (Preferred.)
- Customer-focused, with demonstrated ability to understand and prioritize work according to the strategic impact/value and achieve concreate results.
- Demonstrates accountability and delivering results within a self-organized team environment.
- Detailed understanding of business and product strategies within aligned domain; clearly explains them to the agile team.
- A trusted advisor for both business and IT stakeholders; provides a sustainable, high level of stakeholder partnership.
- Aligns to established quality expectations and incorporates functional and non-functional quality measures into requirements; ability define and lead user acceptance testing process.
- Promotes teamwork; works well as a member of a team as well as successfully facilitating collaboration within the agile team.
- Experience defining software requirements for moderately complex products/solutions; working knowledge of analytical tools, relational databases, and software applications; proven ability to analyze moderately complex data and business processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both orally and in writing, to a wide range of audiences, including business and IT leadership both inside and outside the department.
- Makes well-informed tactical-level decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment.
