Job Description
This position will assist in the creation,implementation, and/or management of applications as well as tasked with thestrategic design and implementation of Identity Solutions. Prospectivecandidates should have in depth understanding of Multi-Tier Web Applicationdevelopment.
The Enterprise Identity Developer willcontribute to the design, development and delivery of an IAM architecture teamand related solutions to enhance First American’s capabilities. This role musthave both strong technical and communication skills to fully contribute to theintroduction of this new technology. The position will need to influence andcommunicate with customers from all sections of the enterprise â€" including enduser, technical resources, IT leadership and other business leaders, as well asdrive technical excellence through implementation. The development of stronggovernance and operating procedures, and the communication of these policies,is also required.
This position will deliver services thatwill form the backbone for user identity management throughout the enterprise,interacting with many critical business applications, both immediately and intothe future. Participates in the design, development, coding, testing,debugging, and maintenance of software code for business applications. Responsible for middle-tier implementation and integration with backenddatabases. Works with technical staff to understand problems withsoftware and develops specifications to resolve them.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience working onprojects through the full system development lifecycle and directly relateddevelopment experience
• Having experience working with distributedteams is preferred
Technical Skills
• Familiarity with IAM solutions includingADFS, MIM and Cloud Services, SAML, OAuth, Active Directory, LDAP andothers
• Firm understanding of various webauthentication & session management methodologies
• Experience with variety of web applicationtechnologies including ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, CSS, Angular, JS, etc.
• Deep understanding of object orientedprogramming constructs and design patterns.
• Strong proficiency in cross-platformmodern .NET and C#, with reasonable knowledge of .NET Framework Extensions(i.e. OWin, WebAPI)
• Development, Programming/scriptingexperience with SQL, Perl, Java, or PowerShell. J2EE, Java, JavaScriptexperience a plus
• Experience with AWS and Azure Cloudcomputing frameworks, infrastructure, and application environments is a plus
• Experience with top-tier implementationand integration with backend databases
• Has full technical knowledge of all phasesof application programming
• Define and split large architecturalobjectives into smaller incremental objectives
• Troubleshoots and guides others on a widevariety of complex problems and identifies solutions within broad applicationand functional expertise
· Duties and Responsibilities
• Integrate in-house and third partyapplications with enterprise IAM solution
• Work with application developers and IToperations to develop, test, roll out and maintain enterprise-wide IAMsolutions and services
• Experience with participating in qualitycontrol and quality assurance activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve complexauthentication, authorization and integration problems
• Ability to adhere to tight timelines andstill deliver quality tested software on time
• Problem-solve and think laterally as partof a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project
• Ability to work under general supervisionof more experienced team members and/or manager
• Ability to convey technical andconceptual ideas/topics to non-technical personnel
