Job Role: Release Management Process Lead
Location: Plano, TX
Duration: 12 Months
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Note: Due to COVID 19 situation remote option available. Once the situation is settled down candidates needs to come to onsite.
• Creates, communicates, monitors release plans, release roadmap based on inputs from the product grooming and sprint planning sessions.
• Leads the assessment, analysis, planning and design of release packages, including assessment of risk
• Implements the Release Package (pushes code manually or automated), including setup in Github (code repository) and code builder tool (Jenkins) and XL Release
· Developing Release templates using XL Release
· Strong in Release and Deployment automation areas
• Manages risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule, quality and compliance
• Communicates all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
• Makes sure the changes are properly executed throughout the complete Release Cycle
• Understands end to end product knowledge including processes and infrastructure.
• Manages Code deployment to QA by leveraging scripts and automation tools (Not aure about this one)
• Facilitates Dev/QA/Business teams in establishing a test environment and ensure the sanity of the environment is maintained
• Assesses and analyses release components during and after the release
• Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
• Ensures that releases can be rolled back
• Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time
• Administers the recording of activities, logging of results and documents technical activity undertaken
• Ensures KT/Runbook Updates have been completed with sign off from Production Support.
• Ensures that Post Implementation Reviews (PIR) are performed.
