Title : Financial Analyst with Oracle Financial Functional knowledge
Location : Baltimore, MD
Contract : 12+ Month
Job Description:
· Understand, summarize, and articulate the audit requirements and conduct meeting with clients and key stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze, and documents the details.
· Ensure the accuracy of the results and resolve or comments the variances effectively and efficiently.
· Extract, transform and load transactional data including invoices, GL, Account receivables and Account payables and convert it for the audit usage.
· Ability to use Data manipulation, transformation tools such as SQL, Advanced Excel efficiently.
· Collaborate, co-ordinates, follow-up with different functions and verticals to ensure task in hand completes within given timeliness.
· Manage changes to requirements and baseline through a change control process.
Minimum Qualifications
· College education mandatory (Preferably in quantitative/financial discipline)
· Minimum 5 year of experience in working with MS Excel and VBA.
· Minimum 5 year of experience in financial data analysis.
· Minimum 2 years of Accounting experience (familiar with concept of journal entries Debits/Credits)
· Minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle AP, AR, GL or similar financial/accounting software.
· Minimum 1 year of experience in Database.
Preferred qualifications:
· Master degree in Accounting, Finance, Management.
· Familiar with AR/AP Invoices, Credit Memos, Debit Memos, Receipts, Adjustments, Customer records, Supplier records etc.
· Working Knowledge of tools such as Oracle SQL, Hyperion, Microsoft SQL, Cognos, Essbase, MicroStrategy is a plus.
· Good understanding of General Ledger and its concepts.
· Writing complex SQL queries to extract data from different databases.
· Good analyzing capabilities, to break complex problems into simpler ones.
· Experience in a business analyst capacity to automate data ingestion/data aggregation/data disaggregation is a plus.
· Strong aptitude for details and communicate in well-organized way.
