Title  Sr. Consultant Workday HCM / Sr. Workday Business Systems Manager

Location: Bridgewater, NJ

Overview:

Lead the Workday HCM Initiative supporting the HR teams to review current HR processes and drive automation.

Support the HR team by providing technical experience and guidance on the Workday implementation by identifying, evaluating, and developing business processes that are cost effective, more efficient, satisfy user requirements, and bring automation to as many HR related tasks  as possible reducing the possibility of errors, and lead a more auditable view of transactions.

Works with subject matter experts to support integrations wherever possible by providing recommendations and enhancements to the process and using Workday expertise to program the WD system to automate changes.

  • Will drive strategic and technical direction for all HR related issues that arise and identify opportunities for efficiency.
  • Drive integration efforts from Workday HCM to all external vendors for benefits, payroll, iCims, etc. Conduct all testing and validations.
  • Support subject matter experts in launching annualized processes such as annual merit, or performance management planning.
  • Work with IT team to validate ongoing Workday Release Configurations to ensure program changes do not impact current business processes.
  • Troubleshoot continual integrations to ensure passage of accurate data.
  • Perform business process changes as necessary for integration with finance side.
  • Build processes where current manual processes exist such as international benefits, and payroll. Develop integrations and help define business processes to ensure efficiencies.
  • Conduct user training for internal staff as well as deployment of self-service modules for employees and managers rest of world tailoring the message by audience.
  • Communicate project statuses and updates to project team and business owners throughout the duration of the project; making certain all impacted stakeholders have an understanding of risks, issues, and activities related to the project.
  • Work closely with senior IT and business leaders to ensure that delivery expectations are developed, managed and met. Includes coordination with the project PM.
  • Act as point of contact for vendor contacts, which includes integration of project tasks and reviewing deliverables
  • Accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget and scope
  • Oversee the sharing and prioritization of resources among projects

Who we have in mind:

  • 10 years of IT project management experience in a mid to large size global organization
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Enterprise IT system implementation and process optimization experience required;
  • Workday Implementation experience needed in an organization of 1500 plus employees.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in facilitating change, including collaboration with management and executive stakeholders
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
  • Working knowledge of SaaS and vendor hosted systems and implementations
