Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer
Work Location: Chicago, IL
Contract duration: 6+ Months
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution required. Will also consider three years of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.
Job Details:
• Infrastructure Testing & Automation experience.
• Office 365 testing,
• Experience in migration of Office 365.
• Confidence in challenging and recommending technical infrastructure test approaches and test strategies.
• Proven experience of test planning, conducting Impact Assessments, identifying and managing Testing risks, Stakeholder co-ordination and management.
• Have testing experience in Server testing for different OS patches and break-fixes testing e.g. Windows Server/Linux/Unix Servers.
• Must have sound testing experience, Good experience with devising the framework for Validation and verification of Infrastructure components in BAU and long term projects.
• Good knowledge on Infrastructure Testing Automation.
• Hands-on experience in databases like Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, Sybase, Hadoop etc.
• Good knowledge of Infrastructure Testing w.r.t Databases, Network, Security, Citrix, Windows, UNIX, LINUX, Exchange, etc.
• Hands-on experience scripting language like Python, Perl, Windows Power Shell, Bash etc.
• Knowledge of Database monitoring tools.
• Experience in infrastructure test management & co-ordination work.
• Talent should be able to understand Infra changes and should be able to co-ordinate with testing teams and app support teams.
Must Have Skills:
Experience in testing of Windows Desktop Rollouts and Office365 implementations (including Microsoft exchange migrations)
Experience in Database like Hadoop, MarkLogic & Docker
1) Office 365 migration and testing
2) Good knowledge of Infrastructure Testing w.r.t Databases, Network, Security, Citrix, Windows, UNIX, LINUX, Exchange, etc
