Position: Java/Kafka Developer

Duration: 12+Months
Interview: Phone and Skype
Job Description:
We need a Senior Java Developer with Kafka experience for a long-term contract
(candidate should have a LinkedIn profile with photo)
Overall 10 years of experience (If the candidate is really strong on Java and Kafka, then I think we can come down on the total number of years of experience required(10), to maybe 7 or 8. But the candidate will need to be strong.)
• Senior Java developer with at least 6 years of solid java experience
• No front-end work is required. Only backend java work will be done by the Sr. Developer
• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in Kafka
• Should have familiarity with Databases and SQL
• CD/CI + Agile experience is preferred
• The client is using Kafka to keep Salesforce Siebel and their operational database systems in sync. For this, the Sr. Developer will have to write producers and consumers for Kafka in Java. These are similar to restful API's.
