Title: Business Analyst
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Responsibility:
This position is responsible for working closely with client Product Owners in a project work stream to capture user stories, elaborating them, and communicating the same via RTC to Development and QA team members.
The candidate will also assist in test case review, UAT testing and tracking issues to closure.
Skills Required:
Knowledge of Order Management and Trading Systems in an investment banking business
Strong understanding of Trade Lifecycle (end to end) – Equity and FI in specific.
Strong analytical and reasoning skills to visualize compliance rules from end to end in an investment banking trading environment
Document supporting project deliverables including process and training guides.
Experience in Charles River platform and/or Fidessa Product site is a plus.
Analyze, assess, and solicit business requirements.
Develop and maintain detailed requirements with considerations for scope, success factors/measures, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies.
Write, communicate, and explain Epics & Stories. (Agile project exposure is a plus)
End to end testing of the trading systems – trade lifecycle - and co-ordinate with the team (for Dev, UAT and Prod parallel testing)
Ability to co-ordinate with Traders and Trade Support group to resolve the issues
Collaborate with functional areas of project teams including Project Management, Product Management, Development, Data Integration, Business Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance, and User Experience.
Good undemanding of database, queries – From data analysis stand point
