QA consultant (ecommerce testing)

Location: NYC, NY

Duration: Long term

Job Responsibilities:

· Write test cases, both manual and functional.

· Understand project requirements, discussion clarification with business users and business analysts.

· Able to perform ecommerce testing front-end and integration with other systems (like Order Management, payment, Fraud, Inventory, Product Information etc.)

· Executes test cases.

· Logs defects.

· Understand and promotes best practices in Quality assurance methodologies.

· Supports and troubleshoot application issues and rollout to various environments.

· Excellent Communication skills.

Skill set:

1. 9+ years’ experience, with 2-3 years’ experience in testing Ecommerce sites.

2. Firm understanding of eCommerce, web and mobile technologies.

3. Must have experience with any of the mainstream eCommerce package such as Oracle ATG/Commerce Cloud or Demandware/Salesforce Commerce Cloud or Magento, WebSphere Commerce, or other enterprise packages.
