· Big data experience using multiple technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Pig, Hive, Sqoop and Spark.
· Worked with various ETL Tools like Informatica Server and Client tools such as Mapping Designer, Workflow Manager, and Repository Manager & Workflow Monitor.
· Strong experience with star and snowflake schema, dimensional data modeling, fact and dimensional tables, slowly changing dimensions.
· Extensive experience in technical architecture, data modeling, proof of concept, requirement study, system analysis, testing and development of decision support systems.
· Experience in working with Big Data environment coupled with Data Analytics and Predictive Analytics.
· Experience in working with UNIX Shell scripts and Batch scripts and necessary Test Plans to ensure the successful execution of the data loading process.
· Strong experience in analysis, design, development, and testing using C, C++, Visual Basic and Scripting (Perl, Shell) languages.
· Solid working experience with SQL, PL/SQL and databases including Oracle, Teradata, Vertica, Hadoop.
· Advantage of having worked in all phases of software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, analysis, design, reviews, scoping, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, building and deployment, also in support and maintenance.
· Hands-on experience in LINUX/UNIX commands & Shell Scripting and Windows environments.
· Excellent communication skills, Good organizational skills, outgoing personality, Self-motivated, hardworking, ability to work independently or cooperatively in a team, eager to learn, ability to grasp quickly.
