WebSphere administrator role with State Of Ohio Department of Administrative Services in Columbus, OH (Hybrid Opportunity)

Will require onsite work in a hybrid schedule.

For the Rails (Middleware) support will be responsible for:
• Critical production support for the Filenet and Cognos applications
• Support IBM WebSphere, Splunk, IIS, PeopleSoft, EngageOne and GoAnywhere.
• Coordinate upgrade activities DAS/OIT with Application development
• Assist in project and release planning
• Assist project teams with technical solutions
• Support day to day production operation including troubleshooting the issues with performance, software bugs.
• Setting up alerts for the system thresholds in Splunk for application and infrastructure related issues
• Create automation with scripting and 3rd party tools

This position requires senior Middleware experience.
This position needs the following Middleware skillset
• 8+ years of Middleware experience
• Excellent automation and scripting skills
• Senior level experience with IBM WebSphere family of products.
• Strong Experience with Splunk
• Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues
• Experience working in a 24x7 production environment
• Strong Experience with Ansible
• Experience DevOps tool sets such as Azure and AWS DevOps.
• Experience in server backup and recovery techniques
• Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues
• Experience working in a 24x7 production environment
• Experience with Peoplesoft, FairFax, GoAnywhere, IIB/ACE is a plus
