Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ERP Functional Manager with expertise in Workday to join our dynamic IT team within the hospital sector. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of our Workday ERP system to ensure it meets our hospital's operational needs efficiently and effectively. This role involves close collaboration with various departments to understand their processes and requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and ensuring the ERP system is optimized to support our hospital's critical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  •       Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of ERP (Workday) projects, ensuring alignment with hospital goals and industry best practices.  
  •       Collaborate with department heads and key stakeholders to identify and analyze business requirements, processes, and challenges to develop effective ERP solutions.  
  •       Configure and maintain the Workday ERP system, including modules related to finance, human resources, supply chain, and patient management.  
  •       Oversee the integration of the Workday ERP system with other hospital systems and third-party applications to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.  
  •       Develop and implement training programs for end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using the ERP system and can leverage its capabilities to enhance their work.  
  •       Establish and maintain ERP system policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.  
  •       Monitor and report on the performance of the ERP system, identifying opportunities for improvement and leading continuous improvement initiatives.  
  •       Manage a team of ERP analysts and specialists, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.  
  •       Serve as the primary point of contact for ERP-related issues, providing expert advice and support to resolve complex problems promptly.  
  •       Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in ERP technologies, particularly within the healthcare sector, and assess their potential impact on the hospital's ERP strategy.  

Qualifications:

  •       Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.  
  •       Recommended 8 years of experience in managing ERP systems, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Workday in a hospital or healthcare setting.  
  •       Strong understanding of hospital operations and the unique challenges and requirements of the healthcare sector.  
  •       Proven track record of successfully leading ERP implementation and optimization projects, with a focus on delivering tangible business benefits.  
  •       Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.  
  •       Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a commitment to developing and empowering staff.  
  •       Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.  
  •       Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements relevant to the healthcare industry.
