Job Description:
o          Experience as a Progress Open Edge developer having strong programming skills with object-oriented programming skills as well as development patterns such as but not limited to:
•          Experience with Relational Database structure and Database Administration
•          Experience with Unix and Windows operating systems
Experience with Test Driven Development and automation of processes a plus
o          A deep understanding of how to document program design, coding, and maintenance.
o          A strong knowledge of the relationship between software and hardware interaction.
o          A good knowledge of programming (i.e. program design, flowcharting, coding, testing, debugging, etc)
o          Good understanding and hands on experience of developing RESTful Services.
o          Should have good understanding about penetration testing.
o          Strong Verbal and Written Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
o          Familiarity with Microsoft® Word & Excel.
o          Willing to work as part of an agile development team in which collaboration is required.
o          Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication skills, and a motivation to achieve best-in-class results.
o          You should have good knowledge about object-oriented software design, data modelling, and design patterns.
o          Strong in resolving architectural problems including scalability, performance, reliability, usability & security.
o          Ability and willingness to learn new languages and processes as needs arise
