Job Description: A great opportunity for a Senior Full Stack .NET developer looking to work in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking a strong candidate with solid experience working with .NET framework. The ideal candidate will work closely with the product team transitioning legacy software platform to a modern framework. The position will design product features and services, identify and resolve process improvements, while making suggestions for automation opportunities throughout the product life cycle.

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

1. Partners with stakeholders in the design, development, and unit testing of APIs. Align to the business team to gather and document all methods, flow, inputs, data structures and outputs of all business applications and integrations.
2. Lead discussions with business teams regarding implementation and design of product features.
3. Translate business requirements / requests into detailed user stories / feature stories.
4. Contributes to architecture analysis; identify gaps in current state and provide recommendations for future state.
5. Identify major areas of systems improvement and drive results.
6. Design and code with security best practices in mind; document, design, develop, test and deliver scalable applications.

Qualifications/Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in STEM (Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering)
2. 10+ years previous experience in Information Technology, building software solutions
3. Experience with application architecture and design using REST/SOAP web services, Microservices, APIs, API management, frameworks (DevOps, RDBMS, NoSQL databases etc.).
4. 5+ years in .NET development
5. 5+ years' experience with ASP.NET, ADO.NET, ASP.NET MVC
6. 3+ years' experience with REST APIs and MVC patterns
7. Knowledge of an object programming and project patterns
8. Knowledge of SQL Server database
9. Understanding of system design with a focus on improving efficiency and collaboration
10. Understanding of high performance and scalability (elastic/linear) architecture
11. Understanding of security architecture and principles (Authentication, Authorization, Proxy, single sign on, encryption etc.) and secure coding best practices
12. Experience analyzing complex business environment, evaluating processes and recommend improvements
13. Experience with agile framework methodologies
14. Experience with Microservice development
15. Understanding of SOA UI framework and VB.net
16. Good Knowledge and hands-on experience in digital security
17. Demonstrated ability to work with a cross-functional team in a matrix environment.
18. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
19. Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and leadership skills with the ability to quickly build credibility, influence and make recommendations to all levels
20. Self-motivated, and good communicator, with the ability to balance implementation and design while meeting short deadlines
