RPA Automation Anywhere senior developer
Location: Collierville, TN
Job Description
The individual will be a significant contributor and be responsible for designing and developing Robotic Process Automation bots on the Automation Anywhere Platform. In this critical role, senior developer will be part of a growing development organization and possess enough knowledge, skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialization to develop simple applications solutions. Second level professional with direct impact on results and outcome
The Developer is expected to assist in the advancement of a continuously improving automation life cycle frame work and deliver automated processes in scope as aligned by the RPA director.
This role requires the ability to apply LEAN and business analysis methodologies in alignment with RPA technologies to meet the strategic objectives of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Developing RPA Bots on the Automation Anywhere platform to support various business processes on several application and platform environments
- Define and develop RPA bots that automate several business processes supporting a variety of applications and platforms
- Develop Automation Anywhere platform and product expertise, and utilize bot design and development best practices to develop high quality code
- Work closely with product management, and engineering to execute on bot development projects
- Deliver code in an Agile team environment
- Work with a globally distributed team and ensure that physical distance between offices do not impede productivity
- Take responsibility for QA of bots
Desired skills and experience:
- Minimum 5 years engineering experience in software development
- Know, understand and are interested in distributed systems, scalability,
operating systems, networking, robotic process automation - Must be able to get up to speed on the Automation Anywhere platform and 3rd party applications and their API quickly
- Proven ability to define a clear vision and development plan that is
challenging, but achievable and motivating to your team. - Track record of exceptional personal results, routinely setting and
meeting project commitments and stretch goals - Passion for high-quality software development, new technologies and
learning - Experience working with enterprise scale software and API integration
- Unit Testing, participating in QA test planning
- Good communication skills, quick learner and ability to work under pressure
- Team player with ability to establish close working relationships with other teams
- Should have good logical, analytical & problem-solving skills
- Proven experience in creating automation for web applications and desktop applications.
- Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Should have worked as Software Engineer/Developer(.Net) in the past.
- Microsoft Technology (VB .NET, Windows, Internet Explorer, SQL Server, Web Services), Scripting languages (e.g., python, Perl, PowerShell, bash, vbs, JavaScript etc.) and/or Java, html, CSS,
- Strong written and verbal communication, with technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating operations with technology skills
- A high level of motivation, strong work ethic and self-starting attitude.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 40-60 percent in a year

- In depth understanding of transaction sets like 820, 110,210,997 – its associated segments and data flows
- Must to have EDI background

- There are 30 diff systems currently and would need to understand how to access to get information based on EDI knowledge
- Good Documentation skills is a must need for setups
- Good Communication is a must as constant communication with customers is needed while setting up in EDI
- More onsite is preferred as all of them needs to work with customers but preference would be to have the right people start asap and can if offshore does not work then we might look for onsite.
