RKCS, a federal/government contractor requires for one of its prime customers an IT Systems Security Engineer/Administrator!
Position is located in St. Paul, MN.
Resources will have to interview and perform work on-site.
This role has a heavy security focus, so only respond if you have that background!
Agile methodology is being used.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in multiple security initiative projects
- Ability to initiate, monitor vulnerability scanning
- Ability to implement central event logging
- Ability to enhance intrusion detection, etc.
- Examine existing IT systems and business models
- Defines application problem by conferring with clients; evaluating procedures and processes
- Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions
- Controls solution by establishing specifications; coordinating production with programmers
- Validates results by testing programs
- Provides security consultation to small projects and assists with implementation for security access on major implementations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Min. 2 years of experience in Security solution design, implementation and troubleshooting across all computer platforms
- Min. 5 years of experience in Security technology implementation and troubleshooting across all computer platforms
- Min. 5 or more years required of combined IT and security work experience with a broad exposure to infrastructure/network and multi-platform environments.
- CISSP, CISA certification is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications
- Seven years of experience developing in ASP .NET with C#
- Three years of experience developing ASP .NET MVC applications
- Three years of experience using HTML5
- Three years of experience using CSS3
- Three years of experience writing T-SQL for MS SQL Server
Desired Skills
- Experience writing unit tests with the use of mocking libraries
- Experience in development of Windows Services using .NET 4.0 or above
- Experience using XML schemas
- Experience using XSLT
- Experience using SOAP web services
- Experience using Web API
- Experience using Entity Framework
- Three years of experience using JavaScript
- Experience working with front-end JavaScript libraries, especially Bootstrap 3 and jQuery
- Experience working with LESS for authoring CSS
- Experience developing in a front-end JavaScript framework, such as Vue.js, React or Angular
- Knowledge of Domain Driven Design concepts
- Experience working National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) compliant schemas
- Development experience within an Agile development team
- Experience working with law enforcement or criminal justice systems
Need Sr. Java Developer, ST. Paul, MN, Long term
Minimum Qualifications
- Seven (7) years of experience developing in Java
- Three (3) years of experience developing with EJB
- Five (5) years of experience writing T-SQL for MS SQL Server
- Three (3) years of experience using XML schemas
Desired Skills
- Experience writing unit tests with the use of mocking libraries
- Experience using XSLT
- Experience using SOAP web services
- Experience working National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) compliant schemas
- Development experience within an Agile development team
- Experience working with law enforcement or criminal justice systems
- Ability to debug/troubleshoot systems that span multiple applications
