Network/QA Tester - San Jose, CA - 12+months

Hi   I am working on Network/QA Tester role based in San Jose, CA. Please revert with updated resume if you are comfortable with the requirement.  Job Title: Network/QA Tester Location: San Jose, CA Duration: Long term (12+months) Experience – Senior level 8+ yrs. Visa: "U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.."  Required Skills: Testing as divided into three parts: 1.        Fundamental component testing of the device. We’ve done a lot of this already. Testing the ethernet port, wifi module sanity check, etc. 2.        Testing of the application running on the device 3.        Testing of the interface between the server and the device Need somebody to come and help us architect, document, and implement a testing framework for, first, running tests manually, then automating as much as possible. Summary of the requirements:  1.        Python and familiarity with pytest or some other test framework 2.        C/C++, mostly C is what we use here. 3.        Familiar with linux at a basic level. 4.        Not afraid of hw. Working knowledge of wifi, ethernet, USB would be great. We won’t put him to solder components, but needs to be comfortable with testing devices directly. We’re not testing an application in the purely software sense of the term. We test the application running on the device and want to understand how the application reacts to different inputs, etc. 5.        Good documentation will be needed.  6.        Will interact with server guys in Boston on the part of testing that involves the server.
