Overview

This .NET Developer will assist in a complete end-to-end system re-write where the majority of his/her focus on front-end UI support using MVC (preferably version 5), CSS3, HTML5, Knockout.js (Substitutes may include Angular.js, Node.js, React.js, etc.)

IA-DHS- .NET Developer (584615) 

• This position will assist in the entire end-to-end system rewrite of the existing RIMS (Refugee Information Management System) for the Bureau of Refugee Services into ASP.NET MVC Core.  The primary focus will be on front-end development and will require the individual to be a self-starter who can work quickly and accurately.    

• This role will be more focused on front-end UI support - MVC (preferably version 5), CSS3, HTML5, Knockout.js (Substitutes may include Angular.js, Node.js, React.js, etc.)

• Responsible for supporting legacy client-server systems.  (SQL Server, ASP.Net, vb.net); responsible for thorough system testing as well as working with a testing group. (unit, system, integration, regression). 

• Translate what they see as far as the front end goes, observing what the existing application does, analyze the database to see what can be cleaned out of there, and conduct end-to-end developer with most of the focus on the UI.

Successful candidates will possess: 

• The ability to work closely with small development to rewrite existing applications to the latest in client-server technologies; The ability to analyze the current application and assist in the rewrite from scratch; able to react quickly to changing requirements in an agile environment; self-starter work ethic who can is adept at providing exceptional results with limited supervision. 

Skills required for this position are:

 

• Experience in developing ASP.NET – 5 years

• Experience MVC web applications using C# or ASP.NET MVC Core – 5 years 

• Experience with RESTFUL development for web services – 5 years 

• Experience in working with HTML5, CSS3, bootstrap – 5 years 

• Advanced JavaScript (Knockout.js, Angular.js, Node.js, React.js, etc) – 5 years

• LINQ and Entity Framework – 5 years

• Team Foundation Server (or other version control tools) – 5 years

• SQL Server (2012+) – 5 years
