Devops Engineer in Philadelphia, PA

We are hiring Devops Engineer in Philadelphia, PA location on 6-12 months Contract role for one of our client. Details are given below.

 

Title: Devops Engineer

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 6-12 months Contract

No EAD’s. Only H1B, USC, GC and TN.

Qualifications:

Basic

•       Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

•       At least 4 years of proven experience as a software developer with testing experience.

•       At least 1 year of recent Linux Administration with Centos7

•       At least 1 year of Ansible in deploying new applications and upgrades to multiple clusters.

•       At least 2 years of usage of shell, python scripting in DevOps tasks

•       At least 1 year of configuring and extending monitoring tools (Senzu, Nagios, Op5, Icinga) with scripts and plugins.

 

Preferred

•         6 years of proven experience as a software developer with testing, DevOps experience.

•         2+ years of Linux Administration with Centos7 or Ubuntu

•         2+ years of Ansible in deploying new applications and upgrades to multiple clusters located across geographies

•         2+ years of usage of shell, python scripting in DevOps tasks

•         2+ years of configuring and extending monitoring tools, preferring Senzu with scripts and plugins

•         Security domain, concepts and experience is a definite plus.

•         Knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus

•         Familiarity with programming languages and frameworks such as Java, JavaScript/NodeJS, Golang is a plus

•         Knowledge of Telecom, Security is a plus

•         Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

•         Communication and Analytical skills
